Kayaking the bay's protected waters is a favorite pastime.

Fishing St. Joe Bay
Surf fishing can be enjoyed almost year-round. One of the favorite fishing spots frequented by many local fishermen is at the new Windmark Beach development, also known for years as "Dixie Belle Curve", named after a local motel in the same area.

Sailing St. Joe Bay
St. Joe Bay is an ideal destination for Gulf of Mexico coastal sailors. Offering sheltered waters and deep anchorages, yachts traveling from Texas to the Florida Keys often stop for the night either to enjoy the amenities of the Port St. Joe Marina, or at Eagle Harbor located in the St. Joseph Peninsula State Park on the opposite side of the bay.
